That’s odd. It’s not the first time. Two weeks ago, Super Ego’s Attorney showed up for a deposition with a Super Ego employee who knew nothing about Super Ego. Shocker.
Again, not the first time. United Ego LLC answered North River Insurance Company’s discovery in October 2025 by naming two people. Biljana Mimic, the company’s only owner. Mirna Cobic, the only agent it knew of who had participated in insurance matters. Everyone else involved, the responses said, was out of the country. North River’s deficiency letter came back with the names its own claim files carried for people who had handled Super Ego matters: Veronica Torres, Anthony Pope, Ron Green, John Wayne, Chuck Todd, Cole Sheen, Martin Robertson.
North River moved to compel in December 2025 and never got the hearing. On February 11, 2026, the parties entered an agreed order in DuPage County case 2023 LA 000108. Super Ego Holding and United Ego waived their claims for lost revenue, lost business, and lost profit, and confirmed on the record that, beyond the individuals already identified, they cannot name anyone else who submitted claims or maintained the insured-equipment inventory. North River’s Rule 201(k) correspondence describes deposition testimony about a Risk Management Department and a Safety Department. United Ego had been administratively dissolved in August 2025. Tea Stankovic reinstated it in January 2026, mid-litigation, at Biljana Mimic’s Elmhurst address.
Long before my 60 Minutes deal, we mapped this group as expert witnesses for litigation efforts in both the class action civil wage claim and the wrongful death, vehicle crash, and insurance fraud allegation cases. One of those tools was a VIN/Plate crossover tool. The same VIN/Plate crossover tool the FMCSA uses for its special investigators. VIN crossover isn’t a be-all and end-all. Kate Watson Moss made the argument in a demand letter to me on June 12, 2026, writing that Super Ego rents tractors and trailers to more than 1,200 independently licensed carriers, as Penske or Ryder would.
Cargo policy 42-MAR-102106-01 names TimeIt Logistics, Floyd Inc., and Xtreme Load LLC. Auto policy IMP F171201-01-01 names Robert L Gast Inc., Windy City National Trans and Minnesota Transport. An underwriter issues a policy to a named insured after evaluating the insured’s loss history, drivers, equipment count, and safety record. Penske’s customers hold their own policies with their own underwriters. Timeit was later sold on Domilea.com for $35,000 in April 2026; whether that was actually a sale, we don’t know.
We went on to build a Clearinghouse of documentation across dozens of attorneys and lawsuits. We found that, across our litigation cases, most of these attorneys weren’t speaking to each other. They weren’t sharing data. Yet the data they each had would have solved the other’s cases. So we built the largest single Super Ego network documentation Clearinghouse in existence. So when a case comes up, we not only build the tools that show you how they do or don’t go together, but also who, where, and why. From banking to domestic violence to how much they bounce checks for, we have it. News flash…it’s not just the VINs. It’s more the UCC filings and other connecting data.
The agency placing the coverage is family-owned. Millennium Insurance Group LLC operates at 200 Devon Avenue, Suite 10, Bensenville. It was organized in November 2020 as Super Ego Insurance Agency LLC with Biljana Mimic as organizer, and renamed in February 2023. A Statement of Change filed with the Illinois Secretary of State on January 19, 2026 lists Biljana Mimic as president. FMCSA licensing and insurance filings show Millennium as the auto liability producer of record for Prime Route Transport, Robert L Gast, Windy City National Trans, TimeIt, and Floyd. Biljana Mimic is Aleksandar’s sister, a former president of Super Ego Holding, and, per United Ego’s own October 2025 discovery responses, the sole owner and president of United Ego.
Lenders wrote down what they were told. When a carrier in this network finances equipment, the UCC-1 financing statement filed in Ohio or Washington names three co-debtors on the same secured obligation: the carrier, Super Ego Holding, and Aleksandar Mimic personally. A bank lends against the co-debtor it can collect from.
Four carriers of risk have said in a filing that they were told something untrue about who they were insuring. American Inter-Fidelity Exchange sued Mimic personally in 2020 in the Northern District of Illinois (1:20-cv-05394) to rescind coverage, pleading that he insured the network’s equipment under a single policy in his own name while misrepresenting the entities operating it. The court dismissed that case with prejudice in 73 days. Progressive Preferred terminated Rocket Expediting in December 2022 for failing to provide correct information, as documented in Rocket’s own signed Ohio assigned-risk application. North River sued Super Ego Holding and United Ego in 2023 on statutory and common-law fraud counts, and that case remains open. MS Amlin, sole underwriting member of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2001, sued Floyd in May 2023, 1:23-cv-03253, to void a motor truck cargo policy from inception. There are three allegations. One is a documented termination.
December 2022 ran for three days. Progressive terminated Rocket Expediting on the 13th. Rocket bound replacement coverage in the Ohio assigned-risk plan on the 14th. On the 16th, Floyd filed an MCS-150 with FMCSA reporting 112 power units. The Amlin cargo policy then in force for Floyd covered 12 tractors.
Floyd submitted a Hankook tire-credit application on June 6, 2024, representing a fleet of 1,300 tractors and 1,300 trailers, identifying Aleksandar Mimic as president, chief executive, and owner. The application sought $50,000 in credit against roughly $120,000 in projected annual purchases. Floyd’s federal carrier profile has never reported a fleet at that scale. A tire vendor extending credit runs the same check a bank runs, on a smaller dollar figure.
Most of the active authorities in this network today are fronted by Universal Casualty Risk Retention Group. Universal was chartered in Oklahoma in 2016 out of what began as a New York used-car-dealer program and is run by Timothy Barry Derham of Jericho, New York. It writes 2,728 active motor carriers with 16,255 power units and more than $2.1 billion in aggregate filed limits, and roughly 40 percent of those carriers score high or critical risk in the Tea Technologies model, compared with a national high-risk rate under 15 percent. In October 2023, Oklahoma’s insurance commissioner placed Universal under an Emergency Order of Supervision Instanter. Universal sued its own regulator in federal court that month. Risk retention groups do not pay into state guaranty funds. When a judgment against one of their insureds cannot be collected, the unpaid medical cost moves to Medicaid and Medicare.
The DOT data 60 Minutes cited on April 19, nearly 15,000 violations and roughly 500 crashes across two years, sits distributed across dozens of authorities that each clear an authority-and-insurance check on their own. A broker running any single DOT number in this network sees a carrier that passes. Run the officer name, the physical address, and the producer of record on the insurance filing, and the same load-tender screen returns one of the country’s largest carriers.
